Estimation of the HEC-HMS model parameters in data-scarce regions. Application to the Ouergha watershed (Sebou, Morocco)

The availability, accessibility and quality of data are significant obstacles to hydrological modelling. Estimating the initial values model´’ ’s parameters is a laborious determining task requiring much attention. Geographic information systems (GIS) spatial remote sensing prometting tools for processing collecting data. In this work, we use an innovative approach estimate HEC-HMS model from soil map Africa (250m), land GLC30, depth bedrock map, digital elevation observed flow estimation applied Ouergha basin (Sebou, Morocco). proposed approach’s interest feed with close study area reality instead using random parameters.
